Wheelabrating
Puget Sound Coatings is equipped with a horizontal style Wheelabrator with a
capacity of 16-inch height by 6-foot width.
Steel is transported through the machine via a roll conveyor,
achieving an SSPC-SP6, SP10 or SP5 clean. Beams, Angles, Channels, Pipes, Tubes
and Plates are all typical work achieved by this machine.
With millscale and rust free steel, it enables easier
welding, cutting and forming, and speeds up fabrication while keeping your shop cleaner.
A 'wheeled' surface is ideally suited for most paint types, and
promotes adhesion and durability.
